Originating around 2700 B.C. Tui Na is the most ancient form of massage that exists today and, alongside acupuncture and herbal medicine, is one of the three main branches of Traditional Chinese Medicine.

Tui Na differs from many other forms of massage as it treats illness and disease as well as musculoskeletal problems. Diagnosis and prescription are based on Chinese Medicine Theory. Treatment stimulates the meridians through massage, manipulation techniques and acupressure to balance the flow of energies within the body.
